In Korean, the word “Sikku (식구)” means “the people you share meals with.”
But it also means family — because sharing food is sharing life.
Our community is like family — our own Sikku.

At UKEH, we’re more than a language school —
we’re a community that learns, shares, and grows together through Korean language and culture.
The heart of our community is creation — doing things together.
Cooking together, eating together, talking together —
this is the spirit that makes UKEH feel like home.

함께 먹는 사람들을 한국어로 ‘식구(食口)’라고 합니다.
‘식구’의 본래 뜻은 ‘밥을 함께 먹는 사람들’, 그리고 곧 ‘가족’을 의미하지요.

UKEH는 함께 모여 한국어와 문화를 나누며 가족이 되는 커뮤니티입니다.
함께 만들고, 함께 먹고, 함께 이야기하는 것 .
